In 2018, my goal was to read more books. There is a chance I may fall short of my reading goal, but I’ve made strides in the right direction. Here is what is on my bookshelf:
You Think It, I’ll Say It by Curtis Sittenfeld
Betwixt and Between by Jenny Boully
Beyond Measure by Rachel Z. Arndt
Ikigai by Hector Garcia and Francesc Miralles
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly
What is on your bookshelf? I’d love to hear your recommendations.
Great list, Rudri. A friend just recommended Lilac Girls. I’ll be adding it to my TBR pile. 🙂
HI Jackie,
My book club is reading Lilac Girls. I can’t wait for the discussion. What else is in your TBR pile?
I LOVED Sittenfeld’s collection!
Me too! She creates complicated worlds and characters in everyday situations.
You’ll have to tell me how you like Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine. I really loved that one. I just finished Liane Moriarty’s hypnotist love story book. (can’t remember the full title)
I am halfway done and love Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine. Eleanor is such an endearing protagonist. Thanks for the Moriarty rec.
I just finished Extremely loud and Incredibly Close and it is a great book. Also, Little Fires Everywhere. Both good. I wish I had more time.
Little Fires Everywhere has been in on TBR pile for some time. I will move it to the top! Thanks, Ayala.
