I am a voracious reader and every week I come across either a book, online piece or website I want to share with others. I’ve decided to curate these gems and highlight them on Friday. I hope you find these faves as insightful as I do.
- How do you live in a one bedroom apartment with 12,000 books? Hanya Yanagihara, author of A Little Life, reveals how she lives with so many books.
- Does comparing yourself with others wreak havoc on your self-esteem? Here’s the healthy way to compare yourself to other people.
- Are you a people pleaser? How to say no when you feel you can only say yes.
- A piece on marriage – Happily-Ever-After Doesn’t Exist.

Living with books is fabulous! Just purged and gave aways boxes of them. I do this about every other year. I just can’t help but buy books. In search of picking one for my bookclub. Criteria is that it has to be by a woman or about a woman and must be avaiable in paperback…any suggestions? You always have such great rcommendations.
Susan,
I think you might enjoy Goodbye, Vitamin (Rachel Khong) and One Day We’ll All Be Dead And None Of This Will Matter (Scaachi Koul). If more come to mind, I will let you know.
Ah.. real life marriage. Love it.
Also, I’m terrible at saying no! I love that one.
Living with books sounds so wonderful to me! I loved the article! 🙂 Thanks. xoxo
