Every month I chronicle those ordinary delights that give me comfort or offer a place of reflection or joy. Here are my everyday delights for July:
1. This journal: I collect journals and adore quotes. I love the blank pages and the cover of this Soothi journal.
2. The sun dipping into the ocean: We had a chance to spend some time near the ocean this month. I witnessed the sun dip into the water – something I won’t forget.
3. The desert sky: The sunsets are breathtaking in the desert, especially in the summer. I caught this beauty mid-month, unexpectedly during my daughter’s tennis practice.
4. We all scream for ice-cream: It has been a month of ice cream runs wherever we are. We tried this local favorite, Creamistry, where ice cream is made fresh with liquid nitrogen. Watching them make this sweet goodness is just as enjoyable as eating it.
What were your everyday delights this month?
The ocean is filled with wonder. A gorgeous picture. I am happy you enjoyed it.
I love how the water and sun have a relationship in that particular picture.
Mm.. it’s always ice cream for me!
And in Cape Cod last week we saw some great sunsets into the bay. I one day will wake up for a sunrise over the ocean too.
Great journals are amazing.
Your sunset and sunrise photos are exquisite, Tamara. Hope you showcase some of your sunsets from Cape Cod.
I looooove that journal!
I love it so much – I haven’t written in it yet!
