I am a voracious reader and every week I come across either a book, online piece or website I want to share with others. I’ve decided to curate these gems and highlight them on Friday. I hope you find these faves as insightful as I do.
- How do you get back on track when you lose your way? The answer might be here: Just 10 minutes of meditation helps anxious people have better focus.
- Are these summer books on your list?
- No explanation is needed for this piece – Dear Rick Moody, Life Coach: Is Melancholy a Suburban Condition?
- How do you achieve a happy life?
What were your favorite reads this week?
I always love these lists. Particularly happy to read the 7 summer book recommendations from A Cup of Jo. I just read the Levy and can’t wait to read some of the others! xox
I cannot wait to read the books on Cup of Jo’s list. Would love to hear your perspective on these books too. Thanks!
I just finished Lincoln in the Bardo, which was one of the recommendations from A Cup of Jo’s list. I’ve been meaning to write a review, but in short, I really liked it. The form takes some getting used to. Once I understood how the story flowed, I enjoyed the storytelling. I look forward to hearing your thoughts about it.
Jackie,
I’d love to read your review. Its been on my TBR pile for months. Time to put it on the top. Thanks!
LOVED the Rick Moody!
Glad you liked it. I thought it provided an interesting take on suburbia.
I really like the pieces on anxiety and mindful meditation, and summer books!
I thought the anxiety piece was quite helpful.
