I am a voracious reader and every week I come across either a book, online piece or website I want to share with others. I’ve decided to curate these gems and highlight them on Friday. I hope you find these faves as insightful as I do.
- Do you want longevity secrets? Great insights about aging and how to live a long life in the piece,”Want to live past 100? These centenarians share their secrets.”
- It’s hard to keep a positive outlook on a situation, but recent research suggests optimism influences your heath. The New York Times points to practical tips you can implement in your life in the article, “A Positive Outlook May Be Good for Your Health.”
- I adore taking pictures and experimenting with Instagram. The photographs in “Winners of the 2017 Sony World Photography Awards,” are stunning. You don’t want to miss these visual stories.
- On a scale from 1-10, how happy are you at this moment and what has been going on in your life to cause these feelings? Mark Manson offers thoughts to ponder in “The Disease of More.”
What were your Friday Faves for this week?
Ahh.. the photography! Stunning.
Regarding living past 100, my grandmother was interviewed by a local paper when she turned 100 and she attributed being active and “eating ice cream every day” to her longevity! I kid you not!
Oh, that’s my kind of lady! I love ice cream.
That Mark Manson piece is SO GOOD. Thank you for pointing it out! xo
My pleasure! His latest book is a compelling read too (The Subtle Art of Not Giving a ______).
The photography is breathtaking! I will catch up on the rest….Thank you.xo
