There are several books sitting on my shelves, begging for my attention. This year, I’ve vowed to be more consistent with my reading and I am happy to report I’ve succeeded (thus far) in my comittment.
Here is what is currently on my bookshelf:
Books for Living by Will Schwalbe
Pretentiousness: Why It Matters by Dan Fox
Deceit and Other Possibilities by Vanessa Hua
I Know How She Does It by Laura Vanderkam
Today Will Be Different by Maria Semple
What are you reading this month?

I always enjoy learning what books are on your shelf, Rudri. I read Today Will Be Different a few months ago. I’ll be interested to hear your take on it.
I’ve got To the Bright Edge of the World next on my list. I’m looking forward to this one!
Thanks, Jackie. I will definitely be adding both your book recommendations on my list. These are two books that are unfamiliar to me.
I really enjoyed Books for the Living a lot. Can’t wait to hear what you think! xox
I finished this read early in the week, Lindsey. I loved both his books.
Rudri, that 2nd one has the wrong link. I know because that title is SO intriguing. I am putting the Dan Fox book on my to-read list! Thanks! Very cool photo, btw.
Thanks for letting me know, Luanne. I corrected the link as soon as I got your comment.
I always enjoy your book recommendations. I heard books of the living is a good book. 🙂
Yes, Ayala, it is a good read. I urge you to check it out!
books for living….lol
I have some overdue books but I finally have my hands on new Jodi Picoult and Big Little Lies. I just finished “If I Stay.” Brutal!
I liked Big Little Lies. I’d love to hear what you think about Picoult’s latest work.
