Every month I chronicle those ordinary delights that give me comfort or offer a place of reflection or joy. Here are my everyday delights for September:
1. Pantone Colored Notebooks: I love journals, but also adore small notebooks I can carry in my purse or on-the-go. These mini-notebooks are great for jotting down notes, observations or quotes. They fit neatly into a Pantone colored cardboard container.
2. Uniball Black Pen: I’ve collected pens since I was a little girl – I raided my Dad’s desk to find the latest pen in his collection. I found this recent pen at Paper Source (one of my favorite stores). The ink glides on the paper with little effort.
3. Enjoy Today: My office is filled with reminders and inspirational quotes. This little dish sits atop my bookshelf and is the perfect cue to enjoy what is, instead of what isn’t.
4. Capturing the transition in seasons: The weather is finally cooling in the desert and for the next several months the outdoors is a welcome haven. I’ve caught a few sunrises and sunsets as this transition occurs and loved the picturesque view of this particular photograph.
What were your everyday delights this month?
I feel the same way about capturing the seasonal transitions.
Also, I never underestimate the power of a good pen and pretty colored notebooks. It’s dreamy!
I have several blank journals stored in our home. I am unable to resist their power!
A good pen with ink that glides across the page is a pleasure to use. 🙂
I agree. I’ve loved pens since my childhood – my Dad was a connoisseur of putting just the right ink on paper.
I love the transition from summer to autumn…leads right into my favorite time of year…all the beautiful sights, smells, and tastes!
I know where you live, Susan, you experience such beautiful seasons. I look forward to the pictures. . .
All delightful things!
Thanks, Nina.
All lovely!
Thanks, Ayala!
