I am a voracious reader and every week I come across either a book, online piece or website I want to share with others. I’ve decided to curate these gems and highlight them on Friday. I hope you find these faves as insightful as I do.
- “I realized that the deepest solace we find in life is in accepting when things are over, letting the pieces fall away, and starting again.” I love this piece about change from my colleague and good friend, Jana. The Beauty of Change will shift your perspective on uncertainty.
- I am always looking for book recommendations from readers I trust. I regularly follow Great New Books and encourage you to check out their picks for the best books of 2015.
- What is your daily routine when it comes to writing? I found the Daily Routines of 12 Famous Writers (And How They Can Help You Succeed) particularly insightful and helpful.
- How much does horoscope play into marriage? The New York Times Modern Love piece, “Heart Said Yes; the Horoscope Said No” provides an interesting look into Hindu culture, the role of horoscope and how it has the ability to tint who you might eventually marry.
What were some of your favorite reads this week?
Thanks for the Friday Favs, Rudri! Love the writing tips of 12 famous writers…

I love the writing tips. So good.
The horoscope article is something I am familiar with because of my culture context, but I thought it might be neat to share with others who may not have known about it.
I loved the writing tips. So much goodness in the advice presented.
I always find gems in the links that you share, thank you. As soon as I catch my breath I will check them.
