I am a voracious reader and every week I come across either a book, online piece or website I want to share with others. I’ve decided to curate these gems and highlight them on Friday. I hope you find these faves as insightful as I do.
- I love Dominique Browning’s thoughts on growing older in the New York Times piece, “I’m Too Old for This.” “The key to life is resilience, and I’m old enough to make such a bald statement. We will always be knocked down. It’s the getting up that counts. By the time you reach upper middle age, you have started over, and over again.”
- Nina Badzin is a writer who I adore and admire. Her friendship column offers great advice, which is not only insightful, but practical too. Her latest piece focuses on how to deal with envy in a friendship.
- I am a huge fan of Instagram. One of my favorite follows is National Geographic’s gorgeous photographs feed. The images often take my breath away.
- Infographics are fun to explore and Habits of Famous Successful People is no exception. Check out the common traits and quirks famous successful people practice. An interesting read.
