Putting things off is the biggest waste of life: it snatches away each day as it comes, and denies us the present by promising the future. The greatest obstacle to living is expectancy, which hangs upon tomorrow and loses today. You are arranging what lies in Fortune’s control, and abandoning what lies in yours. What are you looking at? To what goal are you straining? The whole future lies in uncertainty: live immediately. – Seneca

Wow. I had never heard this one before. Stops you in your tracks, doesn’t it? Have a wonderful day, Rudri.
I’ve mulled these words in my head a few times since posting it. It pushes you to consider those things that you keep putting off. Glad it resonated with you.
I love this. I tend to put things off and needed to read this. One to bookmark. Thanks for sharing.
This is so true, but sometimes one must be patient. There is a difference between patience and procrastination, I guess.
I used to put off things much more. Now it’s like I know to do them and do them with gusto. It’s not perfect, by any means, but I at least have made smalle changes.
Ugh, yes! I’ve found my procrastination and my perfectionism are partners in crime. But I’m getting better.
