Every month I chronicle those everyday things that give me comfort or offer a place of reflection or joy. Here are my everyday delights for June:
1. This coffee mug: I love playing Words with Friends and when I saw this coffee mug, it made me smile. I added this particular mug to my coffee cup collection and enjoy drinking my favorite brew while playing, of course, Words with Friends.
2. Summer Delight: Gelato from Talenti: Run to your nearby grocery store for this delicious gelato. My friend K. introduced me to this delight and now my family and I are taste testing every flavor from Talenti. My favorite? Sea Salt Caramel.
3. These personalized notecards from Levenger: In my days as a lawyer, I discovered Levenger, a company that specializes in various office supplies. I still like to jot down my to-do lists and various ideas on notecards and these 3 x 5 index cards are a handy tool. You have the option to personalize if you choose.
4. This vintage typewriter: I love the look of the letters and the reminder of how books were created before the advent of technology. This typewriter serves as my writing inspiration.

I’ve only recently discovered the sea salt caramel and sea salt chocolate flavors of . . . everything. Yum! My new everyday delight would be the rose flavored macaroons from Aunt Abby’s bakery in Scottsdale.

Yes to Talenti! I’m obsessed with the sea salt caramel. My friend says she likes one with raspberry with it. She says it does not disappoint.

I am glad my delights resonated. The typewriter was a gift from my husband and he purchased it from a local person in our city. I do think they sell them on the internet or perhaps Craiglist for reasonable prices. It is a nice gem to inspire writing.
