“Listen to your life; see it for the fathomless mystery that it is. In the boredom and pain of it no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it, because in the last analysis, all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace.” -Fredrick Buechner
I ran across this quote on The Art of Simple and felt compelled to share these words.
Very beautiful quite Rudri 🙂 we definitely don’t listen enough. I’m trying to listen and figure out my path but it’s a process. Have a great day! -Iva
I am beginning to think that everything is a process. It is a struggle for me to appreciate the various nuances of the process, but I am trying.
Such a pertinent reminder that our lives are so blessed. Having 2 deaths recently in my circle of family and friends has made me look even more at my own life and be grateful for each experience, whatever it may be. These words are so powerful to help us remember, thank you.
Cindi,
I am so sorry for your losses. Crisis often makes us savor our present. As you said, we even learn to appreciate both the negative and positive. A pleasure to see you in my space.
Thanks for your insight.
A gorgeous quote!
